Whatchamacallit?

Whatchamacallit?

We had received numerous requests for a guitar with certain “design elements” from our customers, and so we started exploring …….

Armed with some interesting suggestions from our friends Russ at Swampdogs Music and Dave at The Oxford Guitar Gallery, we headed to Nashville.

After a long day working our booth at NAMM, we were hungry and wanted to catch some local music. We were delighted to discover that we could get the job done in one fell swoop by going to the 3rd and Lindsley Bar and Grill for dinner and a performance by Webb Wilder and his band. This prepared us for another grueling day at the exhibition.

Midway through the day I decided to take a breather and pop down to Gruhn Guitars and see my friend Billy Jackson. As luck would have it, Mr. Wilder was having a chat with Billy as I walked in. Introductions were made, and I mentioned the “whatchamacallit” project to Webb. Names were suggested but to nothing seemed to fit.

Whilst speaking with James at Vintage Guitar Magazine, the thought of a “name that guitar contest” was brought up.

Can you help us out here? If you can come up with a name that the aforementioned cast of characters (not to mention the old geezers at Campbell) all can agree on, we’ll give you one. See all the legal mumbo jumbo and how to enter below.
